This place is perfection! These Italian sandwiches are the most authentic I’ve had in Toronto. The bread is so soft and fresh. Got the Don Angelo and oh my it was amazing!! The staff were so nice!! Please open one in Vaughan!!! :) Also they did not ask me to write a review nor was it for any discount… it was just that good of an Italian sandwich that I had to leave a review!Posted on Google![]()

Decided to give Vero a try when they opened and as a fan of Italian Sandwiches. The staff super nice and efficient, the store is small but you can see the cheese and deli meats being cut on the deli slicer in front of you, the various toppings on display reminiscent of Subway, and in the back you can see the dough for the bread being made. I got the The God Feather Sandwiche and it was good and they give two large halves. The only thing I can really say it to prepare to spend $20+ dollars on food. I would like to see items like half Sandwiches to offer people working in the area or any passersby a affordable open. Recommend if love Italian Sandwiches.Posted on Google![]()

Wow, the best Schiacciata sandwich in town. Was in store today and got Don Angelo & Gabagool. The Bread was hot out of oven, super fresh veggies and layerssss of hams. Definitely gonna go back for more!Posted on Google![]()

Service was amazing - Got to meet the owners as well as the bread maker & the gentleman whose bread recipe they are using! Everyone was so kind & you could tell they were enthusiastic about the business! Food was incredible as well - I got the La Mortazza - All I could say is some more meat & toppings (especially more stracciatella) would make it even better - but that doesn’t take away from my 5/5 rating. For anybody complaining about the price - A Subway sandwich is $15 - I DEFINITELY don’t mind the extra $10 for fresh bread, fresh ingredients, and supporting a small business. Great jobs guys - Can’t wait to go again VERY soon!Posted on Google![]()

Really fantastic sandwich. Had the spicy one and it’s heavenly. Incredible bread, quality cold cuts. Can’t wait to go again! It’s pricey but everything downtown is…at least it’s delicious.Posted on Google![]()

I was expecting a sandwich like what they were showing on their IG acct. but it was much different. See attached pictures. The first is from their iG. The line up is weird. You order and there’s really no where to stand while you wait for your sandwich to be made. And there were 4 people who ordered AFTER me that got the sandwiches before me. I guess don’t order the mortadella one… even though it has 1 type of meat, it’s the harder one to make. The bread was hard to bite into. I would have preferred it not to be toasted, that’s not an option. There was salt added to the arugula to make it extra salty against the cured meats. At the end, I couldn’t eat it. This trial cost me $25 (tax and tip). There is a market for a well made sandwich so I wish them luck.Posted on Google![]()

Enjoyed the Giuseppe vegetarian sandwich. Generous filling with nice flavour on lovely homemade bread. Took a bit long & the dine in area needs attention, but a welcome addition on Queen West.Posted on Google![]()
